    Thai Bronze Phra Pidta 'See No Evil' Statue, Approx 17cm high, CM6046.

    Quite an exotic and hard to find item, this Phra Pidta or Pitta statue depicts a stylised form, with the figure covering his eyes, legs in full lotus position. The figure also appears to be covered in serpents. A possible derivative of Sangajayana, but its exact origin a bit of a mystery.

    Material: Cast metal with an antique dark bronze finish. Authentic votive item from Thailand.
