Large 50cm Traditional Burmese Puppet Marionette, Old Puppets; Bodaw the Monk.

These puppets are hand made in Burma and are in traditional style, representing characters in Burmese folk tales, which are used in Burmese puppet theatre.

This puppet is:

Bodaw - the Hermit / Monk (Large).

Each has traditional costume decoration, strings on a wooden handle. Old style puppets in teak wood.

Each puppet approx. 50cm high x 20cm wide, dropping to around 75cm from the rail. Weight approx 850g.
