Traditional authentic Burmese Puppet Marionette, old style little boy. NV04.

These wooden puppets are hand made in Burma and are in traditional style, representing a little boy. Nude design. These are for hand held use - pulling the string causes the arms to flex. Probably intended for use as a children's toy.

Each is entirely hand carved in traditional fashion, hand decorated with articulated joints and with a string loop hanger affixed at the back of the neck and linked to the arm movement

Please note: Individually hand carved puppets - each one is slightly different.

These puppets are approx. 26cm high, with a hanging length of around 42cm with the cord.
