Traditional Burmese Puppet Marionette, Medium Size - Ganesh.

These puppets are hand made in Burma and are in traditional style, representing characters in Burmese folk tales, which are used in Burmese puppet theatre.

This character is:

Ganesh (Ganesha).

Each has traditional costume decoration, strings on a wooden handle. Old style puppets in teak wood. Where there is more than one available, colours may vary.

These puppets are approx. 39cm high x 20cm wide and have a hanging length from the wooden rail of approx 55cm, but will vary from puppet to puppet.
